You can find Dorko’s on the corner of 4th and Poplar in Mt Carmel, PA.  Let’s see, if it’s 2006 now, I’d venture to say there’s been a bar on this corner since before anyone reading this was born.  I know we’ve had the place since at least ’58, which puts us just shy of a 50 year anniversary as Dorko’s Cafe.  And it was a bar for decades before we took over.

It’s a small town, so there are certainly a lot of familiar faces, and stories.

During the fall and winter we follow the big sports, and play the bar sports.  So you can find us shooting Darts on a Tuesday or Shuffleboard on a Saturday, and yelling things like “You’d think Brennan would throw to the tight end once in a while!” in between. 

 In the spring and summer you’ll find players from Dorko’s on the softball field, or a basketball court, or the golf course.  Add that to our dart shooters and the shuffleboard team, and it’s pretty much fun and games all year long  

The good times start at 10AM and closing time is 2, so if you’re in the neighborhood stop by and say hi.  But be careful, I hear the barstools are magnetic, so once you stop in you might find yourself staying a while.
