monday night we had the Coors Light Girl visit us.  she brought a small cooler with a lock, and gave out keys to anyone interested in trying win the prize inside.  made for an interesting activity.

 she also made the rounds, making wure that everyone in attendance had their name entered to win the big Coors Light Man Cave package.  the winner will be announced on the radio on Spetember 2nd.  the package includes, but is not limited to . . .

• a flat screen tv
• coors light bar table
• coors light bar stools
• neon sign
• neon clock
• kegerator
• deck chair with beer dispenser

which are all pretty neat items.  Cookie made sure to get his name into the mix . . .

oh, and we played trivia as well.  i believe there were a half dozen teams in the mix.  none of them named after casey anthony, thankfully.

the “no questions asked” event required each team to send up their “toughest” player.  the idea was to attach as many clothes pins to your face and neck as possible.  sinko attached ALL of them, emptying out the bucket and bringing home extra points to his team.

it wasn’t enough to overtake the very large, and skilled team that was out celebrating kelly domaski’s B-day.  they took the night!

tonight, Monday July 18th, 2011, should be a good time at the bar.  the Coors Light Girl is coming out to sign people up for a chance to win a Coors Light Man Cave, which is an excellent thing.

of course we are doing Team Trivia, and the kitchen will be open as well!

this coming Saturday we will be celebrating a couple of birthdays, karaoke/DJ style with Tony Tone in the house.  so not only are we partying tonight, we have another party to look forward to before the week is out!

but before we go through all of that, here’s a couple of shots from our recent Beach Party!  Now, some things you just have to be here for.  A Beach Party is one of them, so I’m not going to post too much.  but, I just HAD to share this pict of our man Boyer prepping for one of the “Snorkel Bongs”.

and here’s a shot of the lovely ladies who won the “Coconut Smoochie Contest”.  they were able to start the game with a coconut between their belly buttons, and maneuver it up to their mouths so they could kiss the coconut before any of their competitors did the same.

last night was another edition of Team Trivia!  here are some recaps from recent weeks . . .

Kaitlyn and the ever-cuddly Shicky came back from Hershey one afternoon with a special gift for Trivia Night, our very first, specialy crafted, Team Trivia Candy Bar!

A lucky winner from the “shrimpin’ team” [do NOT look up "shrimpin" in the Urban dictionary, btw], took home the prize in a “no questions asked” drawing.  So, once again, you don’t need to have your periodic table, or list of U.S. Presidents memorized to pick up some neat prizes at Trivia on Monday Nights!

at the end of the third round of trivia, we’ve been ramping up the silliness.  much like the games we run on big giveaway nights (say, the GRILL GIVEAWAY, which we are all signing up for this summer every time we play!), we’ve been injecting a different game each week.  players from each of the trailing teams compete for enough points to put them back into contention. 

what kind of games? well, here’s a snapshot from the “imitate an elephant by wearing pantyhose on your head and swinging your trunk around to knock over a series of water bottles” contest.

honestly, it’s worth coming in after the pool match just to see this stuff! of course you won’t get the total thrill of competing, or even having a player in the contest unless you say, blow off pool and just come to trivia!

tonight we will be partying, per usual.  only there is a distinct style to tonight’s affair.  we’re having a Beach Party.  that means Tropcial Drinks, and casual beachwear!  add some games to the mix (Larry is the man who will be hosting tonight’s conTESTS, and he has some interesting things in store.  oh, and there will be a Limbo Contest).

 DJ Shickety Shike will be taking care of the tunes, and I’m sure if anyone can rock a dance floor, she’s the one. 

So, what do we have?  Drinks. Check. Games.  Check.  Dancing.  Check.  you can never keep the silliness at bay, so I guess it’s ON!

the blenders should be whirring by 8pm, and the games and dancing should start about 10
