Darts First Half Fall

the first half of the dart season drew to a close on Tuesday.  all four teams were within striking distance, and the games that led up to that point were close enough to go either way. 

team swat had control of their own destiny, needing to win two out of three games to secure sole possession of first place.  other teams needed to sweep and have team swat stumble a bit to overtake them during the final night. 

swat would have none of that.  he was fired up, and on target, throwing a new high game of the season with a 56.  that led his team to victory not only in that game, but also for the first half of the season! 

thanks goes out to Traci Ford for bringing back a couple of pans of her soon-to-be-world-famous jalapeno poppers.  words cannot describe what a tasty treat they are, and i’m sure we all look like we’re following the pied piper as she makes her way from the kitchen to the serving station with them. 

notables from the first half of the season:

• more often than not someone during the night will hit in the 50′s
• doug and swat carry 40+ averages at the halfway point
• sucess in the triples event by Chrissy, Ed and Frank Pet
• with help from the rest of the guys, Z hit a new high on the juke box with 61 selections, all classic tunes i might add!

so Tuesday Coming – November 16th – starts the next half of the season.  The team records reset to zero, and we do it again!
