Yule Tide Trivia
ByMonday Night was a fantastic turn out for Team Trivia, with lots of familiar faces making their way out. it was a great time!

along with the shooters, we had baked goods to celebrate the season, and the two big thumbs up go out to Krista for the rum cupcakes. those were definitely little baked doses of happiness!
oh, and like every Monday, it was Yuengling Lager Night!

the season even drew Our Lad out for a visit, during which he let it be known that there is only ONE Fatty!

besides all of the general merriment, we did have a Trivia contest taking place. some of the questions from the night included . .
- What Washington Wizard still bears the mispelled W in his name from a birth certificate typo?
- I could be a common name for ice cream parlors, a college football game or part of a Tea Set, what am i? (the Sugar Bowl)
- In what sport do opposing teams travel backwards and in opposite directions?
- What are the seven ingredients found in a long island ice tea?
after four rounds, there were Three teams tied for first place. so, representatives from the teams of . . .

- It’s almost christmas, why isn’t chickalet at the north pole making toys?
- If my aunt had . . . she’d be my uncle
- It’s so cold out my silver bells are turning into blue balls
met at the microphone to solve the tie-breaker question as best they could. the question was . . .
What year did the US declare Dec. 25th a Federal Holiday??
but before i get the the very end, i need to mention the “Magic Envelope Pick”. every Monday a random player is given the chance to open one of the ten Magic Envelopes. inside of each envelope is cash (of up to a $50 bill) or a $5 lottery ticket.
monday was a good party, so two people were given an opportunity to pick from teh pile of Magic envelopes, and one of them went home with a $20 bill. not too shabby considering it’s a “no questions asked” give-away. and we do this every single Monday!
back to the tie-breaker! the team that came closest was “It’s almost Christmas, why isn’t Chickalet at the notrth pole making toys?” Congrats on the victory guys!!!
