Bywe ran a SPORTS ONLY trivia contest on wednesday. the sports trivias have been small, but fiercely competetive events. this one was no different as teams gathered and made their way through a field of unusually tough questions such as . . .
- Who was the only team from the United States to win the Canadian Football League’s Grey Cup game? (that’s their Superbowl)
- What is the oldest stadium being used in Major League Baseball today?
- Who was the first athlete to be featured on the cover of a Wheaties Box?
the final bonus question didn’t seperate one team from the pack (Name the original 8 AFL teams)
so when the final buzzer went off, two teams were tied!!
the tie breaking question was a SuperBowl themed query. The Pittsburgh Steelers won more Superbowls than any other team in the NFL. How many total points did they score in their Six Victories??
the team of Roll Tide came closer to the correct answer, and took the title away from braintrust of Demanski/Varano/Tanney.

the next sports trivia is loosely scheduled for a Thursday Night in mid-January. Tanney is already chomping at the bit to recover the top dog spot. expect some football questions!
