Bytalk about some recapping to do. here is TWO weeks worth of happenings on the Team Trivia front.
first, let’s go back in time to the week before last, when teams met near Thanksgiving. the team of “jehova’s witness protection program” finished the night tied with team sinko.
i can’t remember many of the questions from that night, but i do recall the tie-breaker.
“in what year did the Macy’s Thanksgivig Day Parade first take place?”
one team knew the exact answer, which was 1924. so, a round of congratulations goes to . . . .

the jehova’s witness protection program!!!
Last week . . . teams battled through questions like:
- What two pair of cards in poker are “the dead man’s hand”?
- What metallic element is found in fool’s gold?
- Name the seven main characters from the cartoon the Jetsons.
the last bonus question was to name the 9 teams in the NHL that have cities of team names that start with the letter “C”. Chicago seems to have been the hidden gem in that list, leaving at least one team off the lead.
and that means, we had a clear winner. it was these guys . . .

in case you don’t recognize the pose, it’s a “snap” in honor of the character known as drunken elvis. i’m just happy they didn’t break into the dance routine that accompanies it.
