Big Dog Tournament
By
ah, the holidays are in the air, and so are the darts. this time two/three(?) of the players who usually make strong showings at the Big Dog event were absent. i’m not going to say that if you can’t bag a buck by the last day of the season, but . . . .
Still, fighting your way through the cast that gathered to do battle was going to be no easy task. the matches were close, and forties and fifties ruled the day. congrats to Kozy of his 50+ performance, which got him all the way to the end of the loser’s bracket and within a few darts of a title shot.
Ed turned in a habitually strong day at the board, working his way through the winner’s bracket to the seat known as “the perch”. whomever rose from the loser’s bracket would have their work cut out for them.
in a series of games where players crushed the board, and then cooled off, Doug prevailed. and so i introduce to you, our new BIG DOG . . . .
