it all started one cold winter’s day. or at least that’s how i’m choosing to remember it.
in some manner of typical barroom banter, the following question was posed . . . “Could Skrully hit a baseball out of the Anthracite?” and at that moment, a line had been drawn. and skrully is a man who is not afraid of lines. or arcs, triangles, or semi-circles for that matter.
the event became part of destiny. a shared destiny between the man on the mound (randy troutman) and the man with the bat, Skrully.
destiny came knocking on wednesday afternoon this week, while the sun shined and the camera rolled!
what transpired is something that you just have to see for yourself . . .
it is a story of the triumph of the human spirit, and the power of a never-say-die attitude! in the end, men tested their limits. and no one got hurt.
you can do better than that?
hat’s off to all who participated in this memorable happening!! and although this one deserves a place in the history books, rumor has it that this story has not yet been fully told. will there be a sequel??? time will tell . . . .
