Introducing . . . the CHAMPS!

in the first running of ALL SPORTS TRIVIA, there were 3 teams that finished the night within two points of each other.  can you get a tighter contest?

edging out the competition, and laying claim to being the very first Sports Trivia Champs is the team of . . .

sportsMasters

Al Kieski, Jason Bower, and Bob Builder.  obviously bob felt he could answer the questions with his eyes closed.

they faired well by being able to answer questions like these . . .

  •  How wide are the goal posts in the nfl according to the NFL rulebook?
  • Under legendary coach John Wooden, how many consecutive NCAA championships did the UCLA men’s basketball team win in the 60’s and 70’s?
  • John Madden was drafted in the 21st round (244th overall)  in 1958.  What team drafted him?
  •   In what year did they introduce overtime to College Football?
  •   What is the record time for a men’s finish in world’s oldest annual marathon - the Boston Marathon?  (be within 3 minutes)
  • These four players have all won the Superbowl MVP award more than once.  Name them.
  • They finished the night with a total of 41 points out of a possible 50.  Team “Michael Vic’s Pugs” posted a tally of 40 points, and Team “Moonlight Gramam” scored 39 points.

Sports Trivia is not a weekly gathering, so congrats gentlemen - you will be reigning over the competition for some time.  BUT - we are going to do this again, so you’d better be prepared to defend your title!!
