Dorko’s Winter Classic
ByYesterday was the inaugural running of the Dorko’s Winter Classic dart tournament. The tournament featured 3-man teams with an average cap of 110. During the course of the afternoon, several players were able to elevate their game while the lights were shining.
Ed Dormer led individual shooters with an average of 47.7 on the afternoon. That includes a day-high 57 game. Not far behind was Joe Swatski, who averaged 46.5 with a high game of 56.
Mark Rohlfling also had a good day, averaging 43.8 with a high game of 51.
Individual performances aside, in the end, two teams seemed destined to meet in the finals. And when the dust settled, here’s how things ended.
