The Spring Darts have their Champions!

the spring dart league came to a close recently. corey’s crew won both the first and second halves of the season, avoiding a playoff and taking the championship at season’s end.

of course the season won’t officially be over until the hi-lo game is played. that is scheduled for the afternoon of May5th.

the dorko’s basketball team recently brought home a third place finish from their latest tournament.
what’s that?? didn’t know we have a basketball team? sure we do!! and, they’re probably the only dorko’s athletes that both sweat, and are forced to compete under the burden of complete sobriety. so, hat’s off to those guys!
the trophies are adding up, so we should be making updates to the display case in the not-too-distant future. this latest piece of hardware will be on display at that time.
April Fool’s Weekend

this past weekend was filled with fun and adventure. in shuffleboard the Clover Hose topped Dorko’s Saturday Night. more shuffleboard news to come . . .
on the dart scene, two teams from Dorko’s competed in the finals of the Silver Bullet Tournament in Nescopek (sp?). Competing for team two was Doug Troutman, Chrissy Schu, and Joe Swatsky. Joe shot remarkably well, averaging a 47, but that was not enough to overcome the competition.
Team One – Corey Hepler, Dave Hobowski, and Danny Lawler faired better, taking 4th place!
it was a good showing, and a great time. and, if you’re ever in the Silver Bullet, try their wings. we had a combination of hot and honey mustard sauces that were fantastic!
